Last of the Iris

Another photo shot at the same time as the last post. You can see the bloom still bearing the droplets of a recent shower, now glistening in the sunlight. I took this with my fairly new Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 lens, which I have to say is a sharp lens, at least compared to some other lenses I've owned (and I'm referring to consumer Nikon lenses—I simply cannot afford the Nikon pro lenses). I bought the lens specifically for portraiture but it does well on other subjects such as shown here.
